The Village Bake Shop History

Started by Arthur and Jo Gilbert in 1961, the Village Bake Shop continues its family-run operations. Their daughter, Teresa Gilbert, carried the family legacy and helped shape the Village Bake Shop into what it is today.

Over 62 years later, the legacy and traditions started by Arthur and Jo still exist – and the Village Bake Shop has expanded beyond the community – one sweet tooth at a time!
